Colorado Athletic Club Downtown
Three major athletic clubs are located within walking distance of Johns Manville Plaza, including two which are located within two blocks of the Building. The Colorado Athletic Club Downtown is located two blocks east of Johns Manville Plaza on 16th and Welton streets. The full-service club is comprised of six athletic centers including strength training, cardiovascular training, racquetball, exercise bikes, gymnasium and rooftop basketball, and three exercise class studios. The Colorado Athletic Club also includes a pro shop and a variety of physical therapy services.

The Athletic Club at Denver Place
Located two blocks north of Johns Manville Plaza is The Athletic Club at Denver Place. The club features three floors of facilities, comprising 50,000 square feet, including an indoor pool, full court basketball gym, racquetball and squash courts, an indoor track, pro shop, and numerous personal trainers and massage therapists.

The Denver Athletic Club
The Denver Athletic Club, located next to the Colorado Convention Center at 14th Street and Glenarm Place, is one of the Denver area's largest fitness centers. The club offers a full range of indoor and outdoor facilities, including a 20,000 square foot fitness center, state-of-the-art weight training and cardiovascular equipment, full size gymnasium, eight lane swimming pool, eight racquetball courts, five squash courts, ten billiard tables, and outdoor recreational activities such as hiking, biking, skiing and running clubs. The club also offers amenities such as a pro shop, barber and hair styling salon, physical therapist, travel agency, and three restaurants. The Denver Athletic Club has numerous social events and banquet facilities that host up to 500 people within the grand ballroom, a sundeck that hosts 250 people, and 12 meeting and banquet rooms.

The Pepsi Center
Denver has completed the construction of new sports facilities for all five of its professional teams at a cost of $730 million within a span of just six years. No other city in the country has accomplished such a feat, as the city of Denver and its citizens have made a dedicated effort to establish Downtown Denver as a world class, 24-hour city center.

In the fall of 1999, the $160 million Pepsi Center opened as the new home of the Denver Nuggets (NBA) and Colorado Avalanche (NHL). This state-of-the-art sporting and entertainment facility hosts over 200 sporting events annually. The Denver Broncos have completed construction on a new $360 million stadium. The new multi-use 76,125-seat stadium also hosts the Colorado Rapids soccer team and includes 1.7 million square feet of space, which is approximately twice the size of the old Mile High Stadium.
